For Him: Holiday Special!

2008 December 16

Are you ladies having trouble finding the right thing to get your significant other? Well, we offer some advice for the gift selectingly challenged (I can make up whatever word I want). The following is a list of what we like. If you don’t like it, you can KICK ROCKS cause its DOPE! We even put a shoe with some items… you’re welcome. (All shoes are available at M. Couture. 2222 Summit St. Columbus, OH)

We at Kingsrowe love jackets… especially denim. This piece comes from the Yohji Yamamoto Homme Fall/Winter 2008 collection.

Doesn’t matter what outfit you have on if you have a pair of these to go with the jacket.

Moncler presents a special limited edition jacket for this years holiday season. Inspired by the brands archive, the jacket is based on a 1964 Alaska expedition jacket. The jacket comes in black and in red and featured a full hood, which is a nice feature for the colder days that are ahead of us. The jackets feature an archive image on the lining, showing somebody from the 1964 expedition wearing the very same jacket. The Moncler “Christmas Edition” Down Jacket is now available at Colette.

If you are shopping for the more distinguished gentleman, try a peacoat by the Japanese brand Deluxe.

Flannel has made a comeback in a HUGE way. You can’t go wrong with any brand, but DQM offer some nice colorways, including several from your favorite “Friday” characters Craig and D-Bo. They offer three colorways of the shirts, each featuring an orange DQM logo tag on the side.

Bape has released some nice new items out of their Fall/Winter 2008 collection. The first December drop includes new gloves, hoodies, a couple of accessories and especially a strong line-up of outerwear. The down jackets with fur collar and leather pea coats stand out in this release.

Bape continues to celebrate their 15th anniversary this season. We have seen special collections for Isetan, as well as the Bape book release recently. Here we present you two special lunch box sets that they produced. Each t-shirt comes in a special metal lunch box, which is covered in matching Bape graphics. Oh, and the Bape 15th Anniversary Lunch boxes are now available at Cliff Edge.

If you can’t afford the top designers and would like to look the part and save the dollar. Better Off Dead, the sub label of False, has released their Holiday 2008 collection. The more accessible line comes with a number of graphics this season, twisting large fashion brand logos. The line offers t-shirts in several colorways as well as crewneck sweaters.

Ok lastly, Play Cloths, the new clothing line by The Clipse has caught fire. We like it enough to feature their whole winter collection.
